JANUARY
18-21: 2nd Annual Savannah Breeze Weekend
Hope y'all will join us for this breezy, easy, fun-filled, girls only weekend full of southern charm benefiting Tybee's St. Michael's School and The Fresh Air Home.
FEBRUARY
2: Tybee Marathon
The Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K courses are scenic, fast, and flat. USATF certified. The events are part of the Run and See Georgia Grand Prix. The 13.1 mile closed loop starts and finishes at Memorial Park. The course is run entirely on asphalt and concrete roads. The average temperature for February is 54°, with prevailing winds varying in strength from the northeast.
14: Tie the Knot on Tybee 2
Tie the Knot on Tybee is a unique and romantic event open to the public that will be a group wedding ceremony and vow renewal celebration. There will be food, drinks, music, photographers and vendors. Even though this event is geared towards couples wishing to get married or to renew their wedding vows, it is open to everyone.
29: Tybee Arts Performance
TAPS is proud to present the two act comedy Squabbles. Directed by Carol Enigmas, the fun begins when the aging husband's father and the wife's elderly mother move in.

8: Tybee Irish Heritage Parade
This Saturday afternoon event is a wonderful family oriented parade with over 70 units participating.
9: Tybee Art Crawl
Prowl the backstreets and ally's of Tybee's art-ier side. Meet local artists in their native habitat. Free and open to the public. 2:00-6:00pm.
14: Savannah St. Patrick's Day Parade
The 184th edition of the parade kicks off at 10:15am and is one of the largest St. Patrick's Day parades in the country. A weekend worth of revelry will take place. Stay on Tybee and avoid the crowds and take a shuttle to the festivities. Call the Tybee Visitor Center for more information (800) 868-2322.
APRIL
12-13: 146th Anniversary of the Siege & Reduction of Fort Pulaski
See history come alive with cannon firings, guided tours and more.
21: Tour de Georgia - Race Starts on Tybee Island
From the salty marshes and ocean shoreline of the Georgia coast to the majestic skyline of the Blue Ridge Mountains, 12 Georgia communities have been selected as the official Host Venues for the sixth annual Tour de Georgia, scheduled April. The Tour de Georgia is a seven-day professional race and maintains its position on the international cycling calendar as a major tune-up for July's Tour de France. The Tour de Georgia continues to be the longest week long stage race in North America with over 650 miles of scenic byways and highways across the state. It is also one of the highest ranked stage races outside of Europe with a 2.HO rating from the Union Cycliste Internationale (international governing body of cycling) and is one of the top races on the USA Cycling Professional Tour.
MAY
2: Sand Arts Festival
Presented by the Savannah College of Art & Design this annual event features 4 contests with cash prizes: Sand Castle contest, Sand Sculpture Contest, Sand Relief Contest, and Wind Sculpture Contest. The entries line the shore of Tybee's North Beach and they attract many onlookers in awe of the creativity of the participants.
10-11: Spring Art in the Park
What a way to spend Mom's Day! Give her a view of the beach, yummy lunch, and a walk in the park surrounded by fabulous art and funky crafts. Show will be located at beautiful Memorial Park from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
16-17: Beach Bum Weekend
Bring your water gun and swimsuit and experience an island wide water fight like no other with The Beach Bum Parade on Friday at 6:00pm. Starting right after the world famous Beach Bum Parade you can enjoy live entertainment under the stars in Memorial Park. Don't miss the Beach Bum Luau on Saturday, featuring free live island entertainment, hula hoop & limbo contests, children's activities and much more.

JULY
4: Fireworks on the Beach
Annual tradition on Tybee Island. The fireworks display, which is launched from the end of the Tybee Pier, starts at 9:15pm. Make sure to arrive early as this is one of the busiest days of the year on Tybee Island.
AUGUST
31: Labor Day Beach Bash
Enjoy the ocean breezes, while live music fills the air from the Tybee Island Pier & Pavilion. Come to the 1st Annual Labor Day Beach Bash featuring free live entertainment & fireworks - All Oceanfront!
OCTOBER
10-11: 4th Annual Tybee Pirate Fest
AHOY MATES! Swashbucklers of all ages will be converging on the South end of Tybee Island to participate in the 4th Annual Tybee Pirate Fest! Featuring a pirate invasion, pirate victory parade, free live entertainment, costume contest, children's events and the Thieves Market filled with treasures, grog and grub!
10-11: 3rd Annual Tybee Rod Run
Show for all hot rods, muscle cars, trucks, classic cars and street rods. Over 150 entries are expected this year. Registration will be on Friday from 12:00-6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am-1:00pm. Show hours are Saturday 8:00am-6pm and Sunday 8:00am-12:00pm. For more information about the event, to participate, or sponsorship information contact Frank Shuman at 912-786-4032.
18-19: 12th Annual Festival of the Arts
A select group of 30 exceptional artists will be featured in this juried art show on the Tybee Pavilion. This event is a fall favorite.
NOVEMBER
8-9: Fall Art in the Park
With a theme of "Educate the child", encouraging ecological sensitivity and local environmental organizations. Artist demonstrations along with fabulous art and funky crafts will be showcased in beautiful Memorial Park from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
DECEMBER
13: Tybee Christmas Parade
Family oriented, Christmas themed parade featuring Santa Claus and other unique participants. Runs along Butler Avenue from Tybrisa Street north to Memorial Park. Immediately followed by a Children's Christmas Party.
31: New Year's Eve Fireworks
Celebrate the New Year with a bang on Tybee Island and enjoy a fireworks display off the Tybee Pier at the stroke of midnight.
